Fuse Energy referral code UK 2026 — you and your friend each get £100

Fuse pays a flat £100 credit to both people on a successful referral. It is the same £100 whether the new customer takes electricity only, gas only, or both — it is not split per fuel.

This page is run independently by a Fuse Energy customer sharing their referral codes. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Fuse Energy Ltd. If you sign up using a code on this page, both you and the page owner receive the referral credit.

How much you actually get

Under Fuse's current referral campaign, the referring customer and the referred customer each receive £100 of credit. Fuse describe it as "£100 per customer referred, regardless of how many fuels" — so a single-fuel home earns exactly the same as a dual-fuel home.

Worth knowing: Fuse's marketing and the email they send customers currently state £100 each, while their published legal terms still reference an earlier £50 figure that has not yet been updated on their site. Referral offers change from time to time, so it is always worth checking the official promotions and referrals terms before you sign up.

How it works

  1. Copy one of the codes above. Either code works — there is no difference between them.
  2. Sign up through the Fuse app or website and enter the code during sign-up. The code cannot be added afterwards, and only one code can be applied per account.
  3. Switch your supply and pay your first bill. The credit sits as "Pending" until that first bill is paid, then it is applied to both accounts.

The referral reward is completely separate from any tariff saving. If you switch to a cheaper rate and use a referral code, you benefit twice: a lower ongoing price plus the one-off credit.

Why people are switching to Fuse

Six things worth checking before you switch

1. Compare the total annual cost, not the unit rate

Standing charges vary a lot between suppliers. A low unit rate with a high daily standing charge can cost more overall, especially in a smaller home.

2. Check where the price cap sits

The Ofgem cap changes quarterly. It is the benchmark to judge any fixed deal against.

3. Use a referral code

It costs you nothing and is separate from the tariff itself. There is no reason to sign up without one.

4. Look for exit fees

Fixed tariffs often carry a charge if you leave early. Check what it would cost you to move again in six months.

5. Submit a meter reading on switch day

This is the single best way to avoid a disputed final bill from your old supplier.

6. Review annually

Set a reminder for a month before your fix ends, so you are never rolled onto a standard variable rate by default.

Common questions

How much is the Fuse referral credit right now?

£100 each — one for you, one for the person whose code you used. It is a flat amount per referred customer, not per fuel.

Do I get more for taking both gas and electricity?

No. Fuse pay the same £100 whether you take one fuel or both. Older pages and posts describing "£25 per fuel" are out of date.

When does the credit arrive?

It shows as "Pending" once you have switched, and is released after your first bill is paid. In practice that usually means around 30–60 days from sign-up, depending on where you land in the billing cycle.

Can I add a referral code after I have signed up?

No. It has to be entered during sign-up, and only one code can be applied to an account.

Will my gas or electricity be interrupted when I switch?

No. Nothing physical changes — same pipes, same wires, same meter. Only the company billing you changes.

How long does a switch take?

Typically 14–21 days, including the statutory cooling-off period.

Is Fuse available where I live?

Fuse supply across Great Britain. Northern Ireland operates on a separate energy market and is not covered.

Does using a referral code change my tariff or price?

No. The code only adds the one-off credit. Your rates are whatever the tariff you choose says they are.

Which of the two codes should I use?

Either. They both belong to the same person and pay the same reward — two are listed simply so there is a backup if one ever stops working.

What if I am in debt to my current supplier?

If you owe more than £500 on a credit meter, a switch can be blocked until the balance is cleared. Under that, the debt normally follows you as a final bill rather than stopping the switch.

Can I still switch on a prepayment meter?

Usually yes, though the tariffs available to prepayment customers are more limited. Check what Fuse offer for your meter type before committing.

What happens if the offer changes after I sign up?

The terms that apply are the ones live when the code is entered. That is why it is sensible to check Fuse's official terms page on the day you sign up.

Ready to switch?

Copy either code above, then start your sign-up. Enter the code when prompted so the credit is attached to your account.
